About Us

The Jungletots programme has been designed by Corrinne "Cogs" Freeman.   Cogs has a BA degree, with majors in English and Drama, from the University of Natal Pietermaritzburg, and has a teaching certificate.   She has successfully run her own Nursery School, "Bush Babies", for the past 13 years.  She is now part of franchisee trainer at Jungletots.  Cogs has also been involved with "Creche on Wheels" in establishing an education programme aimed at underprivileged children and unemployed matriculants.   She has been responsible for the writing of the life skills portion of the syllabus, recommending necessary equipment and has assisted in the writing of the training manual.  These children do not have easy access to schools and teaching materials and "Creche on Wheels" guides them through the learning process, while at the same time providing job opportunities for unemployed matriculants and teachers.   We are proud to have her associated with Jungletots and her standard of excellence enhances the whole Jungletots programme.

Jungletots is part of the Moms and Tots Workshop Company which was founded in 1992 by Petra Lester.  Today Moms and Tots Workshops have established an extensive chain of "Moms and Tots" and "Moms and Babes" Workshops in Southern Africa, Australia, United Kingdom and the United States.
